Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Family History Society

We are pleased to be working in partnership with Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Family History Society which exists to encourage the study of family history within the old counties of Cambridgeshire the Isle of Ely, and from January 2020, Huntingdonshire.

Founded in 1976, the renamed Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Family History Society exists to encourage the study of family history within the old counties of Cambridgeshire the Isle of Ely, and from January 2020, Huntingdonshire.

It not only provides a friendly point of contact for people worldwide who are interested in the same surnames and families, but also offers a wide range of facilities to support their researches into genealogy and the local area. It has a membership of approximately 1250.

The Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire Family History Society have contributed to our collection of vital records for Cambridgeshire and Huntingdonshire, including records of baptisms, marriages, banns and burials.
